Sarah and I left New York and set sail on an adventure during a historic, global event of the 21st century.
The COVID-19 pandemic was both a challenge and a unique opportunity for us to take a career break as we travel home. Global travel in these times required a different approach, and we are thankful to be healthy on this adventure.
So, instead of starting The Grand Tour at a surf camp in Central America, our new start point became an epic road trip around the United States. We remained in the United States as further turbulence and civil unrest unfolded. The awful racial inequality that continues to persist globally has been brought to the forefront and has served as a reminder to us that we are very fortunate to be in our position.
